1,500 Graduates of NCE and BED to be Employed as Teachers in Ebonyi State

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Governor Martin Elechi who was represented by his personal assistant on higher education, Prof Mike Otuma during the 14th matriculation ceremony of the state college of Education, Ikwo said the government of Ebonyi state has provided teaching jobs for 1,500 graduates of the National Certificate in Education (NCE) and bachelor’s degree in education (BED).

Presently, they are undergoing screening for employment as teachers in primary and secondary school in the state.

According to Prof Mike, the recruitment would help the state achieve quality education targets adding that his administration before leaving office on May 29, 2015 would complete the fencing of the college, and also build a befitting provost’s lodge.
